Went to see sumo for the first time in nagoya. Sumo is the japanese national sports, but many foreign players support it lately. Happy to see the tradition goes beyond the ocean.

So dynamic and beautiful tradition, sumo is one of my favorite sports!

Never seen many young wrestlers are walking back to home.

Hozuki market

Went to annual summer event 'hozuki market' in asakusa.
Hozuki is called lantern plant, it was used as herbal medicine. This market has been opened since edo era at sensouji. people buy them for good luck charm.

Windmill party

Finally sun is up in tokyo, we did baby bliss's first birthday! For picnic party, windmill is the great deco item.

It's easy to make with house goods.

Nippori - fabric wholesale

If you live sewing, got to go this town, Nippori on yanote line.

I went to one of my favorite fabric shop, humongous, had a little sale event till sunday.

Their fabric is printed in india with japanese designer pattern. So cute.

All fabric stores are organized, and easy to find what you like!

Asakusa day

I went to a japanese traditional dance event in asakusa founded by my friends family. I wore my own yukata with African prints. And walking around the town after the event. Such a perfect day for japanese cultural day!

Rainy days

it is the rainy season in japan.
Many hydrangea is blooming in the neighborhood.

Blue and purple ones are blooming along the train tracks.

They are my grandma's favorite colors. Picking them from my grandma's garden and decorated at my parents house.
